Johnny Vagianos came to Canada in 1971 from Kalymnos, Greece. He established Maples Pizza in 1977. His goal was to provide quality homemade food with authentic ingredients to families in the local community & across Winnipeg.
The business began as a small diner serving burgers, fries & pizza. Over the years, the menu evolved to include breakfast, sandwiches, soup, salads & dinners. Johnny’s hard work & dedication has made Johnny’s Maples Pizza what it is today – a local landmark.
Johnny has a passion for his food, but more importantly his customers. He looks forward to seeing them everyday & treats everyone like family. He has developed life-long friendships over the years & continues to appreciate the community & his patrons. Johnny’s original philosophy of providing quality authentic food served in a family environment continues today.
